(NUI) - Not all light truck and SUV drivers are looking to go off-roading. In fact, many of these drivers are looking for the same smooth handling and quiet ride they can get from a car.
Now these light truck and SUV drivers will find the exceptional performance and sophisticated design they demand in the Dueler H/L, a new light truck touring tire from Bridgestone that incorporates the company's newest technology, UNI-T AQ.
Initially introduced in 1998, UNI-T AQ reduces the degradation in wet performance that can occur over the life of a tire, helping the Dueler H/L offer exceptional wet handling performance even as the tread wears down.
The Dueler H/L with UNI-T AQ adds the luxury of passenger car comfort and quiet ride to light trucks and SUVs while offering improved wet and dry performance. It joins the Bridgestone Dueler line-up as the tire for those who want a comfortable, quiet ride from their vehicle on the highway.
"The introduction of the Bridgestone Dueler H/L represents a new concept in light truck tires. We are addressing the highway luxury demand of today's light truck and SUV drivers," said Shu Ishibashi, vice president of consumer tires marketing for Bridgestone/ Firestone. "The Bridgestone Dueler H/L provides a sophisticated look and the comfort of a luxury passenger car tire, as well as great wet handling, even as the tire wears. We call this tire 'civilized highway luxury.'"
The S-speed rated Dueler H/L, in a sporty outlined white letter design, will be available in 13 sizes initially with eight more sizes introduced later this summer. Target vehicles for the Dueler H/L include the Lexus RX300, Infiniti QX4, Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Pathfinder.
